| One of the side effects of this is ReactOS now uses the Vista+ style Users/ folder instead of Documents and Settings; | ||
| This being another step of the newer Vista+ features enablement in the nightlies across the board. | ||

What kind of image would you want here?
| During this hackfest we also managed to further large tasks we’ve been working towards. | ||
| Previously we’ve discussed SMP work; | ||
| The ability to use multiple CPUs during the hackfest we started a laptop with a combined version of the upcoming hardware resource assignment work and SMP work and ran a laptop for days at a time, reaching a runtime of over 2 days while actively doing tasks in the background and using 2 cores. | ||

Since we talk about both below.

| For years the ReactOS project has held events where we met up to develop the operating system. | ||
| When multiple of the core team members, and contributors alike hold these multiday events or hackfests, we are able to progress not just the foundational code of the operating system but the guidelines and rules we use apply to the GitHub process. |

| This year there were two events, both of which held one of these hackfests. | ||
| The first at Chemnitzer Linux-Tage (CLT, 2026). | ||

Since this is written in English, I believe that it should reflect the English version of City, Sate.
" . . . Orlando, Florida."
| Since the transition to GitHub the ReactOS project has been working to continually improve its Pull Request reviewing process. | ||
| With the project being run by volunteers this has always been a point of contention. | ||
| PRs have often sat dormant for an extended amount of time, causing frustration to their authors and even among our developers. | ||
| Of course, in the advent of AI this problem has been amplified. |

Great write-up, @DarkFire01. Please feel to ignore or just toss my piddling comments. Thanks again. |
