Form Errors & Technical Issues
Hi everyone,
I recently applied for the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but I’m not sure whether my application was successfully submitted.
During the verification process, GitHub asked for my location to help confirm my student status. However, I’m currently on school holidays, so I’m not at school right now.
I also uploaded a picture of my student ID as proof of enrollment, but I blurred out my face for privacy reasons.
When I first clicked the submit button, I received an error message saying that something had gone wrong. I tried submitting the application again, and GitHub then told me that my application was already being processed.
The problem is that I haven’t received a confirmation email, and my GitHub Education dashboard still shows the option to apply. It doesn’t display a “Pending” status either.
I’ve already opened a support ticket with GitHub Education, but I wanted to ask if anyone here has experienced something similar.
I’m really looking forward to using the Student Developer Pack, so any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
