GitHub Projects board does not display open issues with Status = Backlog

The Backlog column in my GitHub Projects board is visible but empty, even though multiple open issues are linked to the project and have their project Status explicitly set to Backlog.

Example:
https://github.com/jwhite0725/ROSS/issues/85

The issue page shows:

ROSS Development Project
Status: Backlog

However, issue #85 does not appear in:

• The Backlog board column
• The Team items table view
• Project search
• Archived Items

Diagnostics completed:

• The issue is open.
• It is a real issue, not a draft.
• It is linked to the project.
• Its project Status is Backlog.
• The Archived Items page is empty.
• The Backlog column is visible.
• Board filters are empty.
• Board layout is Board.
• Column by is Status.
• Swimlanes is none.
• Slice by is none.
• Other board columns display issue cards normally.

The Backlog column displays 0 items even though the issue’s project sidebar says Status = Backlog. This appears to be a GitHub Projects synchronization, indexing, or rendering problem.

Please investigate whether the project or its items can be reindexed or repaired.
